(Haiphong.gov.vn) - On the morning of October 9, the Central Law Education and Dissemination Coordination Council organized the "Business and Law" Forum in 2024 to create an annual Forum for direct dialogue between Government leaders, ministries, branches, localities and the business community to grasp and remove difficulties and obstacles in policies and institutions related to the legal life of businesses, creating a favorable environment for investment, production and business. Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long – Chairman of the Central Coordinating Council for Dissemination of Legal Education chaired the Forum.
Attending the Forum at the Hai Phong city bridge point were Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Le Khac Nam - Chairman of the Coordinating Council for disseminating and educating the city's law; and representatives of leaders of departments, branches, localities and relevant units.

In his opening speech at the Forum, Minister of Justice Nguyen Hai Ninh, Standing Vice Chairman of the Central Council for the Dissemination of Legal Education (Council), affirmed that building and perfecting institutions is the driving force for development, perfecting institutions in the direction of creating a legal corridor, encouraging innovation, and unlocking resources to promote development is considered a prerequisite for successfully implementing socio-economic development goals.

The 2024 "Business and Law" Forum with the theme "Joining hands to solve legal issues contributes to creating a favorable business investment environment for businesses". With the spirit of taking people and businesses as the center, subject, goal and driving force of development, the Government and relevant ministries and branches have coordinated to deploy many solutions to solve legal problems for businesses, focusing on solutions to promote the building of legal institutions. The forum is a practical activity, aiming at two main goals: correctly and successfully identify existing legal issues in investment, production, and business of enterprises in the context of enterprises being in the process of recovery and development as at present; offer effective solutionsResolve legal issues that businesses are facing, clearly identify directions for amending, supplementing, and developing new legal documents to encourage businesses to innovate and promote development.
Accordingly, the main content of the discussion sessions at the Forum includes: Legal issues and procedures for investment projects using land and solutions; Tax legal issues and solutions.
