Currently, the contractor is continuing to construct asphalt concrete layers, reaching about 64 thousand tons so far; Turnaround field 25 is under construction of structural layers of the turntable surface, however, there are still more than 2,000 m2 of cement soil piles that have not yet been constructed due to problems with the surface of Thanh To road; The taxiway in front of the apron is under construction; The runway lighting system is being installed with cable pipes and light boxes along with the construction of the asphalt concrete surface; The ILS and meteorological systems have not been installed yet because of land problems in the Trang Cat residential area and the unrecovered land of the 363rd division.

Concluding the inspection, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Le Thanh Son affirmed: the general plan of the project has not changed and still ensures the target that by December 31, 2015, the construction of the runway will be basically completed. The Vice Chairman suggested: Hai An district and related sectors and units must focus heavily on site clearance work; soon move Naval Center 47; site clearance of Trang Cat residential area, Thanh To street and land area of ​​Division 363; Develop investment plans for site clearance and support mechanisms for households building houses on agricultural land.
