Implementing the instructions of Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc at the meeting on May 10, 2016 on Prepare and approve programs and projects for useCapital allocated in IDA Period 17, fiscal year 2016 of the World Bank, Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Nguyen Linh Ngoc has the following guidance.
The General Department of Seas and Islands of Vietnam and the General Department of Environment actively coordinate with the Government Office to complete and submit to the Prime Minister for approval the National Action Plan to implement the Vietnam Integrated Coastal Zone Management Strategy that integrates climate change factors; National action plan on air quality management. These are two important policy actions, ensuring eligibility for negotiations with the World Bank.
The General Department of Land Management urgently completes the outline of the Project on Strengthening Land Management and Land Database and sends it to the Ministry of Planning and Investment for submission to the Prime Minister for approval in the direction of building a Land Database for localities participating in the Project in accordance with the Prime Minister's direction; Carry out pre-feasibility study (F/S) approval procedures, according to current regulations to proceed with loan negotiations with the World Bank, expected on May 27, 2016.
