According to the report of the People's Committee of Thuy Nguyen district on site clearance work to build a road connecting to Vu Yen island (under Vship Hai Phong Project) in An Lu commune, the area recovered to build a road connecting to Vu Yen island is 22.21 hectares for 289 households; The land area for Vu Yen bridge construction is 2.65 hectares for 1 household (outside the dike); The land area for the road leading to Vu Yen bridge is 19.56 hectares for 288 households (in the dyke). In site clearance work, the District People's Committee approved the first compensation plan, with an area of 13.06 hectares for 196 households with a total amount of 52.5 billion VND; Phase 2, compensation for 5.98 hectares of aquaculture land and agricultural land of 66 households with an amount of 21,365 billion VND, expected to be paid on October 6, 2017.
For the construction of the road connecting Vu Yen 1 bridge, up to now, the contractor has cleared the site of 6,218 m3 of materials, dug 98 m of the road bed, is continuing to construct road structure layers, and pumped 71,235 m3 of sand near the construction site (the total estimated volume of road sand is 111,749.25 m3).
