(Haiphong.gov.vn) - On the afternoon of December 16, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Duc Tho and representatives of leaders of departments, branches, localities and related units inspected the progress of the investment project to improve provincial road 359 section from Binh bridge to Trung Ha commune, Thuy Nguyen district.
The project is having problems with site clearance work on some sections of the route, affecting the construction of the project
The investment project to renovate provincial road 359 from Binh bridge to Trung Ha commune, Thuy Nguyen district has a total investment of more than 1,315 billion VND, with a length of renovated and upgraded route of more than 8km, the scale of the main urban street is secondary.
To date, the project of 4/8km from the gate of Regiment 238 to the Mountain Pass Town Center has been previously completed. The remaining sections are being focused on construction, but currently, problems with site clearance on some sections of the route have affected the construction and completion of the project.
Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Duc Tho requested to focus on completely resolving the site for project construction
At the inspection, emphasizing the importance of the Project to the socio-economic development of Thuy Nguyen district and trade activities at the southern gateway of the city, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Duc Tho directed that for the section of the route from the foot of Binh bridge - Regiment 238 must be determined to complete before December 31, 2020, therefore Thuy Nguyen district needs to focus on propaganda work, mobilize people, completely resolve the site, ensure that before December 21, 2020, all items must be handed over to the construction contractor; At the same time, embellish and organize traffic on the route.
For the section of the route in Thuy Duong commune, there are currently 177 households that have not been handed over due to related to resettlement policy mechanisms. The Vice Chairman requested the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, the Department of Finance, and the City Tax Department to coordinate and guide the locality to complete the procedures, soon hand over the site to the construction contractor, and strive to complete the section of the route before the Lunar New Year of Tan Suu.
The Vice Chairman also requested contractors and supervision consultants to continue to focus on construction work and organize construction at night to ensure traffic order and safety on the route under conditions of both construction and traffic exploitation on the route.
