Investment project to renovate and upgrade Ngo Gia Tu street (section from the old airport gate to the inter-ward road) with a length of 1.86km; Total investment is more than 242.5 billion VND, land area used is 4.6 hectares. To date, the contractor has organized construction with a construction value of 60 billion VND. Currently, the construction of the project is facing problems with site clearance related to defense land. Regarding the progress of site clearance for Lot 20 and 21 of the new urban area project at intersection 5 - Cat Bi airport, 6.2 hectares have been cleared, while 1.6 hectares are being cleared for 93 households. In particular, the compensation and support plan for 56 households with an area of 10,042m2 was approved. To ensure the site, Ngo Quyen district asked the city for advice on forcibly confiscating land for 6 households; consider, approved other support for 5 households whose compensation plans were approved in the T30 node area connecting Nguyen Binh Khiem street.
The investment project to build the Administrative and Political Center of Ngo Quyen district has a scale of 13,600 m2, total investment of more than 254.1 billion VND. Up to now, 9,500m2/13,600m2 have been liberated, there are still 4,100m2 of 40 cases that have not been released. Currently, the district is highly focused on completing site clearance work in May 2021 to serve the start of project implementation. The District recommends that the Departments of Construction and Industry and Trade soon appraise construction drawing designs as a basis for approval and organize bidding to select contractors. At the same time, it is proposed that the City People's Committee agree to the policy of assigning the District People's Committee to carry out the task of preparing investment and being the investor of the 100m road section from Le Hong Phong street to T30 street to synchronize the infrastructure.
For the project to build a green park at 53 Lach Tray, Lach Tray ward with a scale of 22 thousand m2, it is expected that in May 2021 the district will approve the investment policy; The project will start construction in July 2021 and be put into use in January 2022.
