(Haiphong.gov.vn) - On the morning of August 28, Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Van Tung visited the entire route to check the progress of the construction investment project of Ho Sen - Cau Rao 2 road, the section from Nguyen Van Linh intersection to Cho Con intersection; AEONMALL Hai Phong Le Chan Trade Center Project and Technical Infrastructure Construction Project for roads surrounding AEONMALL Trade Center. According to the report of the Hai Phong Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board, on the site clearance work of the trunk road from Nguyen Van Linh intersection to Cho Con intersection and bridge over Sen Lake, up to now Le Chan district has established and approved a compensation plan to support 445/469 households, with an area of more than 30,000 m2 and a total approved amount of VND 858 billion. The district has made payments to 356 households, currently 112 households have been handed over and are being demolished. Regarding construction progress, with a total length of more than 1,590 m, the construction scope from both ends of the route is about 830m; The contractor has completed the bridge over Sen Lake, drainage, technical trenches, lighting, and asphalt concrete in front of the People's Committee of Le Chan district. Currently, we are focusing on constructing technical trenchest, drainage, roadbed excavation... estimated implementation volume reaches 55% of contract value.
In order to complete the trunk road by the end of the fourth quarter of 2020, the Project Management Board recommends that the city consider urgently allocating capital for the project of about 200 billion VND to pay for site clearance in the third quarter of 2020.

The district also proposed that the City People's Committee agree to the policy of using the State-owned housing fund in the 7-storey area of Vinh Niem ward and the 5-storey housing area of Khuc Thua Du, Vinh Niem ward to arrange for qualified households to move to serve site clearance work. The district commits to be responsible for inspecting and reviewing subjects and considering conditions to enjoy policies according to regulations.

Through a field inspection of the entire route, Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Van Tung acknowledged and praised the drastic efforts of Le Chan district, the Project Management Board and departments and branches in site clearance and construction implementation. However, the progress of projects needs to accelerate further, the Chairman emphasized.
For the AEONMALL Hai Phong Trade Center Project Le Chan, the Chairman highly appreciated the Investor in the construction work, the project was basically completed on schedule committed to the city, and said the city will support in organizing the opening and putting it into operation.
Regarding the project to build technical infrastructure of roads around the Trade Center, the Chairman requested the Department of Finance to balance and allocate capital for the project to strive for completion in September 2020.
