The President surveyed the investment attraction situation in Hai Phong

Working with key leaders of Hai Phong City, the President highly appreciated Hai Phong's rapid development in infrastructure, and the changing appearance is an important premise for Hai Phong to make faster progress in the context of increasingly deep integration.

The President emphasized that in addition to preparing infrastructure, Hai Phong needs to focus on training human resources, this is a limited field. At the same time, Hai Phong needs to review and adjust planning, product and service structure to improve competitiveness.

At the meeting, the President also proposed: with its role and position, Hai Phong needs to be proactive in making recommendations and proposals to remove mechanisms and policies in investment and development not only for Hai Phong but also for the region and the country.

Regarding difficulties in investment resources, the President noted the need to pay attention to restructuring capital sources, promoting the attraction of non-state resources, and socialization to invest in important infrastructure projects. To promote the advantages of the deep-water seaport and the arterial highway connecting Hai Phong with the Northern provinces, the President requested that central ministries and branches coordinate with the City to calculate and concentrate investment resources in Lach Huyen international gateway port so that it is effective and meets long-term and sustainable development.

Also during the working program in Hai Phong, the President visited the investment project of LG Electronis Vietnam Company - Hai Phong, visited VSIP Hai Phong THHH Company and offered incense at the Trang Kenh Temple historical site.
