Quick information on the city's socio-economic development situation, the City Party Secretary said that in the first 4 months of 2026, Hai Phong continues to maintain strong growth momentum. Total state budget revenue in the area is estimated at nearly 72 trillion VND, equal to 40% of the year's estimate; Attracting foreign investment (FDI) is estimated at 1.29 billion USD, up 76.7% over the same period. Currently, the city has 1,044 FDI projects with a total investment capital of more than 44 billion USD. Total export turnover is estimated at 18.3 billion USD; The output of goods through the port is estimated at nearly 58.9 million tons.
