Project to build employee housing area of investor Pegatron Vietnam Co., Ltd. in a part of Lot DO 120-03 (in the 1/2000 scale zoning plan of Hai An district) in Dinh Vu-Cat Hai Economic Zone, Hai An district, with a total investment capital of 68.3 million USD, used land area Use of 5.6ha, construction scale of 8 10-storey dormitory buildings and 1 4-storey public utility building, serving the accommodation needs of 10,000 workers.
Project to build employee housing of investor Universal Scientific Industrial Vietnam Co., Ltd. in a part of Lot DO 120-03 (in the 1/2000 scale zoning plan of Hai An district) in Dinh Vu-Cat Hai Economic Zone, Hai An district, with a total investment capital of 18.34 million USD, used land area use of 2.4ha, construction scale of 4 7-storey dormitory buildings and 1 3-storey public utility building, serving the accommodation needs of up to 4,000 workers.
For a long time, the issue of ensuring social security for workers and employees of economic zones and industrial zones has always been of concern to the Party and State and identified as a key task in socio-economic development, bringing production efficiency and sustainable development to businesses.
Implementing the orientations of the Government and the City People's Committee, in recent times, the Hai Phong Economic Zone Management Board has made efforts to remove obstacles in mechanisms and policies to promote housing development for workers and achieve many positive results.
Speaking at the Conference, comrade Le Trung Kien, Head of Hai Phong Economic Zone Management Board congratulated the Companies awarded Certificates; At the same time, he emphasized: The issuance of Investment Registration Certificates for two worker housing construction projects of Pegatron Vietnam Co., Ltd. and Universal Scientific Industrial Vietnam Co., Ltd. in Dinh Vu-Cat Hai Economic Zone at this time is a very meaningful event in the context of the complicated epidemic situation, directly affecting the lives of workers and the production and business situation of enterprises. Once completed, the project will solve some difficult situations of businesses such as workers not having to travel long distances or rent apartments.In areas with inadequate living conditions, employers do not have to arrange buses to pick up workers, helping to save time and costs and stabilize production.
With the determination of the Hai Phong Economic Zone Management Board, along with the high determination of investors when implementing housing construction projects for workers, this will be the basis for the city to continue to attract foreign investors to invest, build, and develop, contributing to the successful implementation of the goals set out by Resolution No. 45 of the Politburo.
