Attending the meeting were comrade Bui Van Bac, Vice Chairman of the city's Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, along with members of the Election Committee and leaders of Party Committees of communes, wards and special zones: Kien Thuy, Kien Minh, Kien Hai, Kien Hung, Nghi Duong; Dong Hai, Hai An, Hung Dao, Duong Kinh, Gia Vien, Ngo Quyen, Nam Do Son, Do Son; Cat Hai, Bach Long Vi.
According to the report of the Election Board of National Assembly Deputies No. 1, as of March 2, 2026, the total number of voters in National Assembly election unit No. 1 is 462,177 people. Preparations for the great festival of the entire people have been implemented promptly and methodically by localities. Information and propaganda work is carried out diversely through radio systems, electronic information portals, social networks and mobile propaganda vehicles, creating a stimulating and exciting atmosphere among the entire population.
Up to now, localities have completed posting voter lists at Election Teams. The printing and distribution of voter cards is being implemented aggressively, ensuring accurate information based on national population data. Personnel preparation for vote counting groups has also been improved, each group consists of 5 people who have been trained in professional skills according to instructions.
Speaking at the conclusion of the meeting, Mr. Le Anh Quan, Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee, Head of the Election Committee, acknowledged and highly appreciated the implementation work of communes, wards, and special zones in the electoral unit that basically followed the progress and met the set requirements.
In the context of the election day approaching, the Head of the Election Commission reminded localities not to be subjective and need to continue to review and update changes in voter lists in the area to ensure the rights of citizens. At the same time, units are required to further strengthen information and propaganda work to a large number of voters about candidate biographies and election regulations.
Regarding security and order, he directed localities to arrange more personnel at polling stations to guide and closely monitor the voting process, ensuring absolute safety. He emphasized that units need to proactively and drastically implement and successfully complete assigned tasks, contributing to the overall success of the election in the city./.
