Developing Vietnamese cultural industries includes: Advertising; architecture; software and entertainment games; handicrafts; design; cinema; publish; fashion; performing arts; fine arts, photography and exhibitions; television and radio; Cultural tourism has become an important economic service industry, clearly developing in quality and quantity, contributing positively to economic growth.
That is one of the contents in the Strategy for developing Vietnam's cultural industries to 2020, with a vision to 2030 approved by the Prime Minister.
The main goal by 2020 is to strive for the revenue of cultural industries to contribute about 3% of GDP and create more jobs for society, of which the film industry reaches about 150 million USD (Vietnamese films reach about 50 million USD); advertising industry (on television, radio, newspapers, magazines, internet and outdoor advertising) reached about 1,500 million USD; Cultural tourism accounts for 10 - 15% of the total revenue of about 18,000 - 19,000 million USD from tourists.
By 2030, strive for the revenue of cultural industries to contribute 7% of GDP and continue to create more jobs for society, of which the advertising industry (on television, radio, newspapers, magazines, internet and outdoor advertising) reaches about 3,200 million USD; Cultural tourism accounts for 15 - 20% of the total of about 40,000 million USD in revenue from tourists...
One of the common tasks and solutions for developing cultural industries is to promote human resource development, including innovating training content and programs to enhance capacity and improve management skills and business skills in cultural industries; Strengthen links and cooperation so that higher education institutions and research institutes can effectively participate in human resource development in particular as well as the development of cultural industries in general. Train and retrain management and enforcement staff on copyright and related rights; Regularly provide professional training on copyright protection and effective copyright fee collection; Form a team of experts in cultural industries and copyright fields.
There are appropriate remuneration regimes to attract high-quality human resources with basic training and professional experience from countries with a high level of development in the cultural industry to work in Vietnam.
