(Haiphong.gov.vn) - From May 10, Bamboo Airways will launch 3 new routes from Hai Phong to key tourist cities in the country, bringing the total number of domestic routes operated by the airline to 20.
The new route connecting the port city of Hai Phong to Quy Nhon, Ho Chi Minh City, and Can Tho is operated with 1 round trip/day/flight route. Estimated flight time from Hai Phong - Quy Nhon is 1 hour 35 minutes, Hai Phong - Ho Chi Minh City is 2 hours and Hai Phong - Can Tho is 2 hours 5 minutes. These are the first 3 routes in the plan to build a network connecting Cat Bi - Hai Phong International Airport with domestic airports (Da Nang, Phu Quoc...) and international airports (Bangkok, Singapore, Seoul, Siem Reap...) in the near future.
Before coming to Hai Phong, Bamboo Airways is operating 17 domestic routes connecting tourist destinations. The opening of these additional routes is part of Bamboo Airways' roadmap to operate 37-40 domestic and international routes in 2019, to serve the needs of transporting passengers and goods, while contributing to strengthening trade and tourism connections... between regions and regions throughout the country.
In parallel with the process of expanding the flight network and fleet, the Airline is continuing to improve the quality of aviation services towards international 5-star standards. According to the latest statistics of the Vietnam Aviation Administration in April 2019, Bamboo Airways has an on-time flight rate of approximately 93%, continuing to maintain the position of the airline with the highest on-time rate in the entire Vietnamese aviation industry established in the first quarter of 2019.
Accordingly, from May 2 - May 16, 2019, customers can buy tickets at a preferential price of 200,000 VND applicable for flights from May 10 - May 16, 2019 from the airline's agents or visit the website bambooairways.com to book tickets online. The above price does not include taxes, fees, and accompanying baggage and applies to economy class tickets. In addition, customers cannot refund, cancel or exchange tickets.
Previously, the People's Committee of Hai Phong city sent a document to the Ministry of Transport and the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam on opening flight routes: Hai Phong - City. Ho Chi Minh, Hai Phong - Can Tho, Hai Phong - Quy Nhon of Bamboo Airways of FLC Group at Cat Bi International Airport to create favorable conditions for investors, people, and tourists, contributing to promoting the development of trade, economy, tourism, cultural exchange and effective exploitation of Cat Bi International Airport.
