According to statistics from the General Department of Vietnam Customs, two-way trade turnover between Vietnam and Pakistan in the first 2 months of 2015 reached 89.4 million USD, up 84.7% over the same period in 2014, of which exports reached 65.9 million USD, up 132% and imports reached 23.5 million USD, up 17.5% over the same period last year.

Vietnam's goods exports in the first 2 months of 2015 to Pakistan increased sharply in value compared to the same period in 2014. In the export structure to Pakistan, the turnover of some key agricultural products such as cashew nuts and tea of all kinds increased sharply by 12.5% and 106.1%, respectively. Currently, Vietnamese pepper products have really found a place in the Pakistani market, dominating pepper imported from Sri Lanka. The main reason is that Vietnamese pepper, in terms of quality and price, has met the needs and consumer tastes of Pakistani people.
The other key product group with growth in export value in 2015 is seafood (+23.6%).
Regarding Vietnam's imports from Pakistan, the turnover in the first 2 months of 2015 increased by 17.5% compared to the same period in 2015. This increase is mainly due to Vietnamese enterprises increasing the import of raw materials to serve the textile and garment and footwear manufacturing industries such as textile fibers and yarns of all kinds (52.3%), and fabrics of all kinds (36%)...

In general, import-export turnover between Vietnam and Pakistan in the first 2 months of 2015 increased by 84.7% over the same period last year.
