(Haiphong.gov.vn) - On the afternoon of April 19, the Management Board of Hai Phong Economic Zone organized a conference to meet businesses that have not yet established grassroots Trade Unions in Hai Phong Economic Zone. Comrade Le Trung Kien, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Head of the Hai Phong Economic Zone Management Board chaired the Conference. Attending the Conference were comrade Nguyen Anh Tuan, Chairman of the City Labor Confederation and representatives of leaders of relevant departments and branches.

At the meeting, after listening to the report on trade union activities for the development of enterprises, business representatives all expressed their agreement on the early establishment of grassroots trade unions and expressed their desire to receive guidance from the Hai Phong Economic Zone Management Board and Hai Phong Economic Zone Trade Union in establishing grassroots trade unions at enterprises.

Comrade Head of Hai Phong Economic Zone Management Board requested businesses to soon establish grassroots trade unions at their units according to regulations, deploying the implementation in May on the occasion of Workers' Month and the occasion of Hai Phong Red Phoenix Flower Festival in 2024.
