(Haiphong.gov.vn) - In order to strengthen education and international cooperation, helping students interact, exchange, and share learning experiences with environmental experts from Japan, on the afternoon of December 12, at Ngo Quyen High School, the City Youth Union - City Student Association coordinated with the Department of Education and Training and Hai Phong Urban Environment Company Limited to organize the organization. exchange activity, topic: "Promoting green growth in Hai Phong - Kitakyushu, Classifying waste upstream, minimizing plastic waste". This is a practical activity aimed at celebrating the 70th anniversary of Traditional Students' Day (January 9, 1950 - January 9, 2020).


At the program, teachers and students of the School heard Dr. Koji Takakura - an expert from Kitakyushu city, Japan share about methods of classifying waste at source, distinguishing between organic and inorganic waste, and methods of minimizing plastic waste.


Students can also participate in the Creative Festival "Action and protect the environment". Participating in the competition, students were divided into 6 teams of 2 classes and 1 pair, each class sent 2 representatives to participate. In 10 minutes, teams sketched specific ideas and actions that contribute to environmental protection at school and had up to 3 minutes to present their ideas to the judging panel. The winning team will be 3 teams with good ideas, unique and highly applicable in practice.
