April 30, at Thong Nhat Hall, City. In Ho Chi Minh City, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung received high-ranking delegations from Laos, the Kingdom of Cambodia and the Republic of Cuba on the occasion of attending the 40th anniversary of the liberation of the South and reunification of the country.

The Lao PDR delegation was led by Member of the Politburo, Standing Committee of the Secretariat of the Lao People's Democratic Party, Vice President of the Lao PDR Buonnhang Vorachith. The Kingdom of Cambodia delegation was led by Member of the Standing Committee of the Cambodian People's Party, Deputy Prime Minister of the Royal Government of Cambodia Men Xom On. The Cuban delegation was led by Secretary of the Party Central Committee and Head of the Central Foreign Affairs Commission, José Ramón Balaguer.
At the reception, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung, on behalf of the Party, State and people of Vietnam, warmly welcomed and appreciated the high-ranking delegations of Laos, Cambodia and Cuba who came to celebrate with the Vietnamese people the 40th anniversary of the liberation of the South, unification of the country, bringing to the Vietnamese people the feelings of friendship and solidarity of the leaders and people of Laos, Cambodia and Cuba.
Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung emphasized that the historic victory of the Vietnamese people on April 30, 1975 was inseparable from the great support and assistance of socialist countries, the people of the Soviet Union, China, Laos, Cambodia, Cuba and international friends. The Party, State and people of Vietnam never forget the sincere and sincere support and assistance of brotherly countries; affirmed that Vietnam always gives top priority to consolidating and developing good friendly relations and cooperation with Laos, Cambodia and Cuba.
The heads of delegations from Laos, Cambodia and Cuba all expressed their joy and honor to be able to attend the 40th anniversary of the historic victory on April 30 at the invitation of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the National Assembly, the State and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, emphasizing that the victory of great historical significance was not only a victory for the Vietnamese people but also a victory for the people of Laos, Cambodia and Cuba and a victory for all humanity.
Vice President of the Lao People's Democratic Republic Buonnhang Vorachith expressed his deep gratitude to the Party, State, army and people of Vietnam for always providing dedicated, great and effective support and assistance to the Lao people in the past cause of national liberation struggle as well as in the cause of national construction and development today.
Deputy Prime Minister of the Royal Government of Cambodia Men Xom On, on behalf of the Cambodian People's Party, the Government and the people of Cambodia, expressed his deepest gratitude to the Party, State, army and people of Vietnam for helping the Cambodian people escape the genocide disaster; affirmed that without the help and sacrifice of Vietnamese volunteers, Cambodia would not exist today and the two countries Cambodia and Vietnam would not have the conditions to strengthen and develop the relationship of friendship and solidarity.

Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba José Ramón Balaguer affirmed that Cuba and Vietnam are two brotherly countries with a special relationship of solidarity and many similarities in the struggle full of sacrifices and hardships to win national independence. That special relationship of solidarity is a priceless asset that we need to preserve and pass on to future generations.

Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung and the heads of the three countries' delegations agreed to constantly cultivate, consolidate and develop the good traditional friendship and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam-Laos, Vietnam-Cambodia and Vietnam-Cuba; for peace, stability and development in the region and the world./.
