The Department of Finance would like to inform businesses in the city of the following specific content:
1. Information about Vietnam Gold Star Award:
Vietnam Gold Star Award is an award honoring Vietnamese businesses and brands in international economic integration, assigned by the Prime Minister to the Central Youth Union, Central Vietnam Youth Union and Central Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association since 2003.
The 2024 Vietnam Gold Star Award voting program aims to support Vietnamese businesses in building reputable brands; improve competitiveness; Choose leading brands in the industry and key products. To contribute to honoring and creating conditions for outstanding businesses that have made practical contributions to the local socio-economic development.
2. Participants: All businesses registered to operate under Vietnamese law, except 100% foreign-owned enterprises.
3. Right to register to participate: Enterprises can register to participate in reviews of the common brand name of the enterprise or the trademarks (trademarks) owned by the enterprise.
4. Participation process:
– Businesses access the following link to register to participate in the Award: https://1.org.vn/dang-ky-giai-thuong-sao-vang-dat-viet-2024
– After registering online, businesses can take the application form to participate in the 2024 Vietnam Gold Star Award at the link https://vyea.org.vn/giai-thuong-sao-vang-dat-viet
– Enterprises register a unique industry code according to Vietnam's Economic Industry System issued together with Decision No. 27/2018/QD-TTg dated July 6, 2018 of the Prime Minister and declare on the cover page of the Award registration dossier.
– Documents are made into 02 sets and bound into A4 sized books, with the spines glued (do not use spiral spines or file clips) to facilitate the Organizing Committee in arranging, reading and researching the documents.
5. List of documents required in the award registration application
(1) Participation registration form (according to the form).
(2) Notarized copy of the enterprise's Business Registration.
(3) Competitiveness assessment report of the brand registered to participate in the Award (according to form).
(4) Brand logo registering to participate in the Award (send via email doanhnhantre@dntvn.org.vn, put the email subject in the syntax "Company Logo... register to participate in Vietnam Gold Star Award 2024").
(5) Copies of relevant documents proving the information in the report assessing the competitiveness of the brand registered to participate in the Award, including:
– Confirmation of completion of the business's tax obligations in 2023 (or provide the 2023 Tax Payment Declaration and Confirmation from the tax administration agency about the amount paid according to the declaration).
– Confirmation from Social Insurance about having paid social insurance and health insurance until the end of the second quarter of 2024 (or Notification of results of paying Social Insurance for employees until the end of the second quarter of 2024 with confirmation from Social Insurance).
– Financial statements of the enterprise in 2022, 2023 (audited encouraged); Tax finalization report for 2022, 2023.
– Register quality standards.
– Register for intellectual property protection.
– Types of certificates and certifications on: quality management, food hygiene and safety, social responsibility...
– All kinds of medals, medals, certificates of merit, certificates of social work
– And other related documents and papers (if any).
6. Award criteria
(1) Required criteria:
The enterprise strictly complied with the law and did not violate the provisions of law on taxes, social insurance, and environmental protection during the year of review.
(2) Review criteria:
– Total assets
– Owner's equity
– Total Revenue
– Profit
– Profit rate
– Submit budget
– Number of employees
– Average income of workers
– Achievements/trophies of the business and individual business executives.
(3) Encouragement criteria
– Registered intellectual property
– Actively research and innovate in production and business activities
– Actively participate in social security activities
– Build Party, Union and mass organizations in enterprises
– Join the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association.
7. Preliminary awards
– Expected September 6, 2024.
– The 2024 Vietnam Gold Star Award Preliminary Council organizes voting according to product groups to select up to 250 typical brands that best meet the award's voting criteria. At the same time, the Preliminary Council established actual appraisal teams to evaluate the selected documents (expected from September 10, 2024 to September 25, 2024).
– Preliminary results are posted publicly on the website https://vyea.org.vn to solicit public opinion.
8. Awards ceremony
The 2024 Vietnam Gold Star Award Ceremony is expected to be solemnly held in October 2024, on the occasion of Vietnamese Entrepreneurs' Day and broadcast live on television.
9. Application deadline
– Enterprises submit registration applications to Hai Phong Young Entrepreneurs Association - No. 45 Lach Tray, Ngo Quyen, Hai Phong (Youth Culture and Sports Palace) before August 25, 2024.
