(Haiphong.gov.vn) – On the morning of July 11, the Government Inspectorate held an online conference summarizing the first 6 months of the year, implementing work tasks in the last 6 months of 2024. Comrade Doan Hong Phong, Member of the Party Central Committee, Government Inspector General chaired the Conference.
Attending the conference at Hai Phong city bridge were Permanent Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Le Anh Quan; along with representatives of city Inspectorate leaders, Inspectorates of all sectors, branches and localities.

In the first 6 months of the year, the whole industry conducted 3,910 administrative inspections and 58,025 specialized inspections and tests. Through inspection, rectify management and improve legal mechanisms and policies in many fields; Detected economic violations of 92,783.1 billion VND, 292.5 hectares of land; of which it is proposed to recover 59,431.6 billion VND and 24.9 hectares of land; Export settlement, remove from settlement value due to not following regulations and request competent authorities to consider and handle 33,351.5 billion VND, 252.5 hectares of land; Issued 49,982 decisions to sanction administrative violations of organizations and individuals with an amount of 2,089 billion VND; Propose review and administrative handling of 856 collectives and 3,862 individuals; transferred to the investigation agency to continue reviewing and handling 94 cases and 73 subjects.
Regarding the work of receiving citizens, handling applications, and resolving complaints and denunciations, state administrative agencies at all levels have resolved 13,693/17,347 complaints and denunciations under their authority, reaching a rate of 78.9% (up 6% over the same period in 2023). Through resolving complaints and denunciations, it was proposed to recover 8.5 billion VND and 0.27 hectares of land for the state; Return 25 billion VND and 1.1 hectares of land to organizations and individuals; restore and ensure rights for 09 organizations and 259 individuals; proposed to handle 238 people (including 207 officials and civil servants); Transferred to the investigation agency to consider and handle 09 cases and 06 subjects.
Regarding anti-corruption work, the Government Inspectorate continues to advise and help the Government implement the Steering Committee's 2024 work program; The Inspectorate continues to urge and guide all levels and branches to implement the Party's regulations and State laws on corruption prevention and combat. In the first 6 months of the year, detecting and handling corruption detected 19 cases (down 61.2%), 29 people (down 59.7).
The Inspectorate continues to guide and urge state administrative agencies to pay attention to promoting institutional improvement activities and propagating laws on corruption prevention and combat; Sectors and levels issued 11,045 new documents to implement the 2018 Anti-Corruption Law and guiding documents; Amended and supplemented 197 documents, annulled 83 inappropriate documents; organized 30,163 classes for 1,798,318 officials and people to participate; published 438,006 books and legal propaganda documents on preventing and combating corruption and negativity.

Speaking at the conclusion of the Conference, comrade Doan Hong, the Government Inspector General, suggested that the entire Inspection industry should continue to pay attention to building a team of qualified, capable and reputable officials, civil servants and inspection officers; Effectively deploy the 2024 Inspection Plan and assigned unexpected inspections; Seriously implement the resolutions of the National Assembly and the Government and the Prime Minister's instructions on resolving complex, outstanding and long-lasting complaints... At the same time, urge and guide all levels and branches to implement the Party's regulations and the State's laws on preventing and combating corruption and negativity; Continue to implement the National Strategy on Preventing and Combating Corruption and Negligence until 2030...
