(Haiphong.gov.vn) - On the afternoon of July 10, the City People's Council's Legal Department met to review the draft Resolution documents submitted to the 18th Session (regular session in mid-2024) of the City People's Council, term XVI, term 2021-2026. Comrade Pham Quoc Ka, Head of the Legal Department of the City People's Council chaired the meeting. Also attending were representatives of leaders of departments, branches, localities and units.

At the meeting, the City People's Council's Legal Department examined 3 draft resolutions, including: Regulations on content and spending levels for dissemination, legal education, legal access and conciliation at the grassroots level in Hai Phong city; Mechanisms and policies to support those who are downsizing and those who voluntarily quit working before the age of the Central Government, City Party Committee management in the city and Decision to supplement the number of people working and labor contracts receiving salaries from the State budget to arrange the organizational structure of public service units in 2024.

After listening to the reports and opinions of the delegates, members of the City People's Council's Legal Committee basically agreed with the content of the above reports and draft resolutions. The documents prepared by the Department of Justice and the Department of Home Affairs are relatively complete and clear, ensuring they meet the requirements, comply with the procedures and regulations of current law. The City People's Council's Legal Department requested agencies to prepare reports to receive comments from delegates at the meeting to complete and supplement the draft resolution dossier to ensure the quality of the upcoming meeting, clarifying new points, legal basis for promulgating the Resolution, resources for implementation...
