Established a Steering Committee to develop a project to establish a city in Hai Phong city in Thuy Nguyen district

(Haiphong.gov.vn) – The Standing Committee of the City Party Committee has decided to establish a Steering Committee to build a project to establish a city in Hai Phong city in Thuy Nguyen district.

According to the Decision of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee: Establishment of a Steering Committee for the construction of the Project to establish a city in Hai Phong city in Thuy Nguyen district headed by comrade Tran Luu Quang, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Hai Phong city.

The Deputy Heads of the Steering Committee include comrades: Nguyen Van Tung, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Committee, Standing Deputy Head of the Committee; Do Manh Hien, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee; Pham Van Lap, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Council.

Members of the Steering Committee include comrades: Le Anh Quan, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee; Vu Thanh Chuong, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Director of the City Police; Nguyen Minh Quang, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Commander of the City Military Command; Nguyen Duc Tho, Member of the City Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee. Representatives of the City Party Committee's departments: Organizing Committee, Propaganda Committee, and Mass Mobilization Committee. Heads of departments, branches and units: Internal Affairs; Planning and Investment; Transportation; Build; Finance; Natural Resources and Environment; Agriculture and Rural Development; Culture and Sports; Information and Communications; City Party Committee Office; City People's Committee Office; Department of Thong millet city; Secretary of the District Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Thuy Nguyen district.

The Steering Committee has the following tasks: Advise and help the City Party Committee and the City Party Standing Committee lead, direct, inspect, urge and guide the construction of the Project to ensure progress according to Resolution No. 45-NQ/TW, dated January 24, 2019 of the Politburo and Resolution of the 16th Congress of the City Party Committee, term 2020-2025.

The Steering Committee works on a part-time basis. The Heads and Deputy Heads of the Steering Committee are allowed to use the seal of the agency or unit to sign documents within their authority.

The Steering Committee develops a Work Plan and assigns specific tasks to each member of the Steering Committee; Assisting groups are established from officers and experts of relevant agencies, units and localities. The Steering Committee dissolves itself after completing its tasks.

The operating costs of the Steering Committee and the Steering Committee's Support Team are implemented according to current regulations guaranteed by the city budget.

Assign the Department of Home Affairs to be the standing agency of the Steering Committee, advising on the Work Plan, Notifying the assignment of tasks to Steering Committee members and submitting them to the Head of the Steering Committee for signature and promulgation for implementation. Guide, monitor, synthesize and urge the implementation of the Steering Committee's Work Plan.

Assign the People's Committee of Thuy Nguyen district to be the investor, directly building and implementing the project to establish a city in Hai Phong city in Thuy Nguyen district.
