(Haiphong.gov.vn) - Preparing for the 10th session of the 15th City People's Council, on the morning of May 29, the City People's Council's Economic and Budget Committee met to review and decide on the investment policy of the investment project to build a resettlement area on a 9.2-hectare land area in Thanh To ward, Hai An district. The project to build technical infrastructure for the resettlement area on a 9.2 hectare land plot in Thanh To ward, Hai An district is invested by the People's Committee of Hai An district. Total expected investment is 140,336 billion VND from the city budget. Project implementation period: 2019 - 2021. The project investment objective is to meet the need for land allocation for resettlement, serve site clearance for projects in the city, restore and stabilize the regional security and order situation, urban construction, gradually complete the planning of Hai An district approved by the City People's Committee, creating motivation for urban development and socio-economic development of Hai An district in particular and Hai Phong city. in general.

The City People's Council's Economic and Budget Committee affirmed that this is a very necessary and urgent project; At the same time, it was recognized that the investor had actively prepared the project, ensuring that the project documents complied with regulations, fell under the decision-making authority of the City People's Council, and were basically eligible to be submitted to the City People's Council for consideration.
The Department of Economics and Budget basically agreed to approve the investment policy and recommended that the investor closely coordinate with relevant functional sectors of the city to review the total investment, area of resettlement land plots, and land operating costs after the project is completed; Advise the City People's Committee to direct sectors and assign service providers to be responsible for investing in electricity and water supply systems; soon build a 1/500 plan of the land, adding it to the city's general planning; Add the project to the Medium-term Public Investment Plan for the period 2021 - 2026 to have a basis for allocating capital to implement the project; receive comments from delegates to continue to review and adjust the project and complete itDocument submitted to the 10th session of the XV City People's Council for consideration and decision.
