(Haiphong.gov.vn) - On the morning of June 23, city leaders inspected the progress of site clearance work for construction works, projects and the investment status of construction of resettlement areas in Ngo Quyen district.
Comrade Tran Luu Quang, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Head of the Hai Phong National Assembly Delegation attended and directed. Comrade Nguyen Van Tung, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Committee chaired the working inspection. Ngo Quyen District was assigned by the city to carry out site clearance tasks and invest in the construction of resettlement areas to serve a number of key projects in the district, including: Cau Rao 1 construction investment project with bridge and intersection construction, Lach Tray road technical infrastructure construction; Technical infrastructure serving investment projects to renovate old apartments in Dong Quoc Binh ward (phase 1); resettlement areas serving the Dong Khe 2 road construction investment project; Urban beautification project to build resettlement areas, green parks and auction land use rights at 47 Le Lai, May Chai ward; Project to build a resettlement and urban renovation area at 226 Le Lai, May Chai ward; Social housing area atGeneral warehouse 3 Lac Vien; Resettlement area project at 83 Van My street, Van My ward....
Chairman of Ngo Quyen District People's Committee - Dinh Minh Tuan reports on site clearance progress to implement projects in the district.
Reporting on the progress of site clearance and implementation of projects in the district, Chairman of Ngo Quyen District People's Committee - Dinh Minh Tuan said that in the first 6 months of the year, Ngo Quyen district conducted measurements and counts of 18 organizations and 384 households to implement 07 projects; Approved 30 compensation, support and resettlement plans for 02 organizations and 94 households. Land recovery from 02 organizations and 135 households with a total area of nearly 13,300m2; including, completing site clearance of resettlement area in Dong Khe ward, land lot 4 Tran Phu, overpass construction area and Cau Rao 1 intersection.
City People's Committee Chairman Nguyen Van Tung concluded the inspection.
Through field inspection and listening to reports at the meeting, Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Van Tung said that with a large workload, Ngo Quyen district has recently been making determined efforts in site clearance work, but up to this point the progress of the district's site clearance work is very slow, it is necessary to focus on solving problems to complete in 2022 according to the proposed plan. The Chairman criticized Ngo Quyen district leaders for being slow in approving the Resettlement Area under the Dong Khe 2 Road Construction Investment Project, site clearance work in the District Administrative Center and preparing investment procedures for a number of projects. Chairman of the City People's Committee requested Ngo Quyen district to focus more on site clearance work, focusing on reviewing the fund in the immediate future.resettlement land, direct the completion of projects to build resettlement areas in the district according to the direction of the City People's Committee, submit to the City People's Council for consideration at the July 2022 meeting. The Chairman also agreed that in August 2022, the district must complete site clearance work in the Lach Tray road area; September 2022 will complete the technical infrastructure of the resettlement area.

For land clearance on Nguyen Binh Khiem and Lach Tray streets, the district carefully reviews and considers the land origin, approves compensation plans in accordance with the direction of the City People's Committee. For state-owned housing areas, the city agrees on the policy of recovering the entire area when clearing land. Regarding the Ngo Quyen District Administrative - Political Center construction project, the Chairman requested Urban Development Investment Trading Company Limited to soon arrange site clearance funds for the remaining households and complete surrounding traffic routes according to planning, ensuring the project goes into operation on schedule. For the Cat Bi Airport Junction 5 New Urban Area Project, the Chairman assigned the city's functional branches to coordinate, review regulations, support businesses to continue implementing site clearance work.
