On the afternoon of April 7, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Le Trung Kien chaired a meeting to listen to reports on site clearance work to deploy industrial parks and industrial clusters in the city.
At the meeting, representatives of the Department of Industry and Trade and the Economic Zone Management Board reported in detail on the progress of implementation in 5 industrial clusters including Cua Hoat - Quan Thang, Cong Hoa, Luong Dien, Thang Long, Toan Thang and other key industrial zones such as Ngu Phuc, Binh Giang and Tien Cuong - Hoa Binh.
Reporting at the meeting, representatives of the units said that the site clearance situation at the projects currently has a mixture of bright spots and bottlenecks that need to be resolved. In particular, Toan Thang Industrial Cluster (Gia Phuc commune) has basically completed the planned area, expected to hand over the remaining areas by the end of April 2026. Projects such as Cua Hoat - Quan Thang Industrial Cluster or Luong Dien are still facing many challenges due to overlap with national grid infrastructure projects, model new rural projects and difficulties in determining land origin and old local land lease records...
After listening to the opinions at the meeting and concluding remarks, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Le Trung Kien emphasized the urgent need to accelerate the progress of site clearance to implement zone and CNN projects, especially in the current context, this is considered a driving force for the city's economic growth.
The Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee assigned the Department of Industry and Trade to preside over and coordinate with the Department of Finance to work specifically with each CNN to agree on a commitment to progress and legal conditions. The Department of Construction accelerates the appraisal and approval of design drawings. The Economic Zone Management Board reviews all problems with site clearance, accelerates site clearance progress, and deploys infrastructure investment in projects. The Department of Natural Resources and Environment needs to closely direct the approval of environmental impact assessments. The Department of Science and Technology will soon complete the management application and monitor site clearance progress so the city can track progress online.
Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Le Trung Kien directed localities to prioritize maximum compensation for agricultural land to support people in quickly changing careers and stabilizing their lives.
