Dragon Hill International Tourist Area project in Van Huong ward, Do Son district of Van Huong Investment and Tourism Joint Stock Company has a total expected investment of more than 25,000 billion VND, implemented over a period of 5 years, divided into 2 phases, phase 1 from 2019 - 2020, phase 2 from 2021 - 2023. This is an important project for which the Group focuses its financial resources to deploy at the fastest speed to soon put the project into operation with high-end amenities and services such as golf courses, shopping centers, beach sports areas... When in operation, it will attract a large number of domestic and foreign tourists, contributing to the local and national tourism industry.
Construction objectives Phase 1 project includes items: freshwater lake, lakeside road, green park, Shop House area; amusement park, water sports, saltwater lake entertainment; transportation infrastructure, green landscape of main roads (48m and 36m); infrastructure of villa areas, green park on Con Co island; Golf course construction phase 1 (18 holes).

At the meeting, Van Huong Investment and Tourism Joint Stock Company proposed that the city continue to allocate the remaining 149.6 hectares to the Company to implement the project according to planning, and proposed not to organize an auction for the additional 149.6 hectares; allows splitting into 2 independent projects including the golf course project of about 130 hectares and the Dragon Hill international tourist area of about 350 hectares. To facilitate the process of exploiting water amusement park services, the Company proposed to build a road connecting Dragon Hill international tourist area with the tourist area invested by Daso Company. It is recommended that the authorities support Van Huong Company to be allowed to connect the traffic system and technical infrastructure of the Dragon Hill project to the local system.
After hearing the report on the implementation status of the Dragon Hill International Tourist Area Project and the Project of building a waste incineration plant to generate electricity in Gia Minh commune, Thuy Nguyen district; Geleximco Group's wholesale market and commercial center construction project, the members of the City Party Standing Committee welcomed and supported the investment policy of implementing Geleximco Group's projects in the city and affirmed that these are important projects that have a significant impact on the city's development. The City will create favorable conditions for the Group to implement projects.
