(Haiphong.gov.vn) - Continuing the business trip in the United States and Canada, on October 11, the delegation of Hai Phong city led by Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Hoang Minh Cuong visited and worked with the Ai20X Startup Support Center.
At the meeting, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Hoang Minh Cuong proposed important cooperation contents such as: supporting Hai Phong to build and operate start-up business incubation centers based on the advantages of the city's geographical location and resources; Training and supporting existing startups, helping them reach international markets as well as sponsoring experts and connecting to the global startup network.
On the part of Ai20X Center, we are committed to supporting Hai Phong in organizing international startup events, attracting investment capital and transferring advanced technology in fields such as information technology, mechanical manufacturing, and semiconductors...
Signing a cooperation agreement between the Department of Science and Technology and Ai20X Startup Support Center.
At the meeting, the City Department of Science and Technology signed a cooperation agreement with the Ai20X Startup Support Center with the main contents: Promoting cooperation in building the Innovation Startup Support Center in Hai Phong; exchange and training of experts and human resources; promote business cooperation activities; Support incubation and connection of investors and investment funds; Support participation in programs and projects serving innovative startups; promote business cooperation activities between innovative startups and the Center and other organizations and innovative startups; Support incubation and connection of investors and investment funds for innovative startups; Support participation in programs and projects serving innovative startups.
Also on October 11, the City Delegation visited and worked with USA Fab Semiconductor Company and visited and learned from technology corporations Google, Facebook (Meta) and Stanford University.
This is an important premise for Hai Phong to build a strong startup ecosystem as well as improve understanding and experience in the field of science and technology. With support from international partners, Hai Phong is taking steady steps on the path to becoming a high-tech industrial center of Vietnam, contributing to the sustainable development of the city in the future.
