– On the afternoon of October 10, the City Department of Science and Technology organized a conference to celebrate Vietnamese Entrepreneurs' Day (October 13) and launched the Science and Technology Business Club of Hai Phong city. Launching Hai Phong Science and Technology Business Club
On this occasion, Hai Phong Science and Technology Business Club was officially launched. Accordingly, the Club is a professional social organization under the Union of Associations including 38 S&T enterprises and 16 businesses being supported to become S&T enterprises in 2023. The Club is a place to gather, support and protect the legal rights and interests of S&T enterprises; helping the city's S&T enterprises in linking and collaborating on scientific research and technology development, innovation, product commercialization, application of scientific and technological research results to serve production and business, contributing to promoting the city's economic and social development and international integration.

Speaking at the Conference, Comrade Nguyen Hoang Giang, Deputy Minister of Science and Technology, requested the Department of Science and Technology to actively advise the city and the Ministry of Science and Technology on policy mechanisms to promote the development of businesses in general, and science and technology enterprises in particular to contribute to the overall development of the city. The Department of Science and Technology continues to act as a bridge to support businesses and S&T enterprises in accessing preferential mechanisms and connecting with domestic and foreign organizations, institutes and schools in receiving and transferring technology and inventions into production and business activities of enterprises. Hai Phong Science and Technology Business Club promotes its role, solidarity, creativity, prioritizing investment, research, application, and transformation.transfer technology and encourage the establishment of Science and Technology Funds in enterprises.
