Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Duc Tho periodically receives citizens in July 2024

(Haiphong.gov.vn) - On the morning of July 30, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Duc Tho chaired a regular citizen reception in July 2024 according to the provisions of the Law on Complaints, the Law on Denunciations, and the Law on Citizen Reception. Also attending were representatives of the City Inspectorate, Department of Natural Resources and Environment and Le Chan District People's Committee.

At the meeting, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Duc Tho listened to the recommendations of Ms. Bui Thi Huyen, Ms. Bui Thi Nga and a number of citizens in Vinh Niem ward (Le Chan district) related to land recovery from 14 households in 3 projects in Le Chan district including the investment project to build technical infrastructure of the A51 resettlement area; Investment project to build the office and evidence warehouse of the City Civil Judgment Enforcement Department; Technical infrastructure construction project lot N38-5. Households believe that determining the origin of land recovered during project implementation is not appropriate, requesting the city to review the compensation unit price and request resettlement land.

After listening to citizens' feedback, reviewing documents and listening to representatives of industry and local leaders reporting the case, the Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee requested the People's Committee of Le Chan District, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, the City Inspectorate and relevant sectors to review and completely resolve citizens' petitions according to regulations.
