(Haiphong.gov.vn) - Determined not to change the progress of project implementation according to the proposed plan, Permanent Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Xuan Binh emphasized such direction at the progress inspection of the investment project to build the South Binh Bridge Intersection, on the afternoon of April 18. Accompanied by leaders of relevant departments, branches, units and localities.
Inspecting the field at the construction site, the Permanent Vice President recognized the contractor's efforts in implementing the construction of underground tunnels, overpasses, branches... the total accumulated volume up to this point reached about 25.16%. For site clearance work, localities have currently handed over land with an area of nearly 85,000 m2 (reaching 72.83%).
The Permanent Vice Chairman emphasized that the Binh Cau Southern Intersection Construction Investment Project is a key project of the city with important significance for the city's traffic development, therefore, the Management Board and contractors are required to coordinate with local authorities and the City People's Committee Office to proactively establish a progress critical path based on which to have a specific construction plan, set out measures and roadmap for site clearance work at locations. The area still has problems.
The Vice Chairman requested the People's Committee of Hong Bang and An Duong districts to speed up site clearance work and continue to review the policies and regimes applied in compensation and support for organizations and individuals. In cases where the mechanisms and policies prescribed by law have been fully applied but individuals and organizations do not comply with the handover of the land, urgently apply the prescribed measures and procedures to recover land.
The Vice Chairman also noted that the Management Board and contractors during the construction process must absolutely ensure labor safety, environmental sanitation as well as traffic order and safety in the project construction area.
