On the morning of October 13, Comrade Nguyen Thi Nghia, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Head of the Hai Phong National Assembly Delegation received a courtesy call on the Delegation of the Supreme Public Prosecutor's Office of Japan led by Mr. Katsuyuki Nishikawa, Head of the Delegation. Also attending were comrade Nguyen Dinh Bich, Permanent Vice Chairman of the City People's Council; Representatives of leaders of a number of relevant departments, branches, branches and units.

Permanent Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Thi Nghia was pleased to welcome the delegation of the Supreme Public Prosecutor's Office of Japan to visit and work in Hai Phong. He said that Hai Phong is the third largest locality in Vietnam, has great potential for socio-economic development, and is a destination for investors, including Japanese investors. In the Vietnam - Japan friendship and cooperation program, Hai Phong participated in many programs and achieved good results. Hai Phong city is twinned with many Japanese cities such as Kitakyushu, Kanagawa, and Kobe. In Hai Phong, there are many Japanese investors, many large economic corporations such as Bridgeston, Fujishiro... Projects invested by Japanese investors have advanced technology, environmental protection,High economic efficiency, great contribution to the city for many years. Hai Phong has many projects with Japanese ODA loans, especially traffic infrastructure projects. These projects are creating new and groundbreaking features for the city's development in the new period.
Permanent Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Thi Nghia especially appreciated the cooperation and assistance of the Japanese Supreme Prosecutors' Office with the City People's Procuracy through many programs and projects that contribute to improving the capacity, skills and qualifications of prosecutors. The Permanent Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee thanked the Japanese government and people for their help in recent times to the city and people of Hai Phong. He hopes that in the coming time the city will continue to receive help from the Japanese government and social organizations.

Mr. Katsuyuki Nishikawa, Director of the Supreme Public Prosecutor's Office of Japan, expressed his pleasure to visit and work in Hai Phong, affirming that the Vietnam - Japan cooperative relationship is truly long-term and profound and hopes that this relationship will increasingly develop. Especially in the field of law, the Institute will send prosecutors to be experts in Vietnam to train and learn from experience in Vietnam, including the Hai Phong People's Procuracy, and hopes to receive much help from the city's leaders and people.
