The Prime Minister has just approved the investment policy of the Technical Infrastructure Construction Investment Project of North Cam River New Urban Area.
The investment objective is to build Hoang Van Thu bridge, build a dyke system, build a Cam River embankment system, build a main transportation system and technical infrastructure system to serve the entire Northern Cam River area with a scale of 1,445.51 hectares.
In addition, develop and expand the city to the North and gradually complete the new city center system according to the orientation of urban space development and according to the adjustment of the General Construction Planning of Hai Phong city to 2025, vision to 2050 approved by the Prime Minister in Decision No. 1448/QD-TTg dated September 16, 2009.
In terms of investment scale, the construction of Hoang Van Thu bridge is about 1,138.5 m long; Build a dyke on the Cam River with a length of about 2,016 m; building the main transportation system of the new urban area North of Cam River with a total length of about 9,958 km; Construction of technical infrastructure system for new urban area North of Cam River.
The total project investment is 9,899.085 billion VND from the city budget and other legal support sources. The project is implemented in Tan Duong, Duong Quan, Hoa Dong communes (Thuy Nguyen district) and Minh Khai ward (Hong Bang district), Hai Phong city for a period of 5 years from 2016 - 2020. Hai Phong Urban Development Construction Management Board is the project investor.
