In 2024, 4/6 targets of the Industry and Trade sector will all meet or exceed the set plan. Trade, import and export activities continue to grow. In particular, export is a prominent highlight and one of the main driving forces of economic growth with total export turnover for the whole year estimated at 36.3 billion USD, up 19.5% over the previous year and exceeding 10% of the assigned plan. Export promotion activities innovate strongly with many series of events. The export market continues to increase and reaches 142 countries and territories. In particular, exports to markets that are FTA partners increased compared to the previous year as the group of industrial and manufacturing goods continued to be the driving force for the overall growth of exports, accounting for nearly 80% of the city's total export turnover.
