In 2024, the City Farmers' Association focuses on innovating propaganda work and mobilizing officials, members, and farmers to properly implement the Party's guidelines and policies, and the State's laws. Promote the development of Branches, Professional Farmers' Associations and Farmers' Clubs to attract, gather and convey positive messages to members and farmers. Timely grasp thoughts, aspirations, difficulties and problems to have solutions and provide official information and orientation for members and farmers in production, business and life. Promoting the Association's role in participating in social supervision and criticism, building a clean and strong Party and political system. Social security activities are carried out promptly, practically and appropriatelywith needs, contributing with the Party Committee and local authorities to care for and support poor, near-poor, and difficult farmer members to stabilize their lives, especially supporting farmer members to overcome storm No. 3 for households with severe damage in units in the city.
In 2024, the Association organized training and fostering knowledge to improve qualifications and skills for 1,344/975 excellent farmers, good farmers in production and business at district level or higher (reaching 138%); The entire city has 75,213 households achieving the title of "Cultural Family"; giving gifts, funding to build and repair houses, and support in the agricultural sector worth VND 46,730 billion to city farmers overcoming the consequences of the storm; Strengthen vocational training and fostering activities for farmers; districts coordinate to organize vocational training for 2,150 rural workers...
