(Haiphong.gov.vn) – On the afternoon of June 25, the National Department of Scientific and Technological Information coordinated with the City Department of Science and Technology to organize a workshop "Solutions for developing and connecting technology trading floors". Comrade Vu Anh Tuan, Deputy Director of the National Department of Information and Technology and Comrade Le Thi To Uyen, Deputy Director of the City Department of Science and Technology co-chaired the workshop. Attending were leaders of 16 Departments of Science and Technology of provinces and cities; Representatives of leaders of relevant units.

At the Conference, delegates presented, discussed and shared a number of issues about: Operating models of some technology exchanges in the world - Solutions applied in Vietnam; Experience of Hai Phong technology and equipment trading floor - Solutions to promote the development of local technology trading floors; Some solutions to improve transaction efficiency of Innotek technology floor; Some evaluation and pricing models to support trading floors - Domestic and foreign experience.
In his opening speech at the Workshop, Mr. Vu Anh Tuan, Deputy Director of the National Department of Scientific and Technological Information emphasized: Technology trading floor is one of the solutions to commercialize science and technology products and promote effective technology transactions.
The workshop aims to introduce mechanisms and policies to develop technology exchanges, experience in organizing and deploying domestic and foreign technology exchanges, the ability to cooperate and link technology exchanges and ways to commercialize science and technology products at technology exchanges.
The science and technology market development program has been signed and approved by the Prime Minister. One of the issues raised is building 3 national technology exchanges located in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang and building intermediary organizations of the science and technology market. However, up to now, intermediary organizations, especially about 20 technology and equipment trading floors throughout the country, have been established and operating. Many technology trading floors have built operational plans awaiting approval. However, currently 3 national technology exchanges have not been built, this is a weakness. Although the model of science and technology exchanges is diverse, the connection andThe connection is not tight. The workshop aims to provide plans, solutions, and operating mechanisms to operate the science and technology platform truly effectively.
Welcoming the Workshop, comrade Le Thi To Uyen, Deputy Director of the City Department of Science and Technology, expressed her pleasure to welcome delegates to the Workshop, and emphasized that this is an opportunity for delegates to exchange and share issues related to the technology exchange, as well as science and technology management activities.
