(Haiphong.gov.vn) - On the afternoon of February 18, the Standing Committee of the City People's Council met to check, listen and give opinions on the draft Resolutions submitted to the 23rd Session (Thematic Session) of the XVI City People's Council, term 2021 - 2026 and the preparation of the Session. Comrade Pham Van Lap, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Council chaired the meeting.
In attendance were comrades: Bui Duc Quang, Vice Chairman of the City People's Council; Hoang Minh Cuong, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee; Leaders of the City People's Council and relevant departments and branches.
Comrade Pham Quoc Ka, Head of the Legal Department of the City People's Council, spoke at the meeting.
The 23rd session (Thematic session) will take place on February 20, and will consider and give opinions on the following contents: Decision to consolidate and merge a number of specialized agencies under the City People's Committee. Regimes and policies to provide additional support to cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers in implementing organizational arrangements of the political system in Hai Phong city. Contributing funds from the city budget to implement the Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong railway construction investment project. Amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Regulation on principles, criteria, and norms for allocating public investment capital from Hai Phong city's budget for the period 2021 - 2025 issued together with Resolution No. 12/2020/NQ-HDND dated December 22, 2020. Amending and supplementing a number of articlesof Resolution No. 02/2023/NQ-HDND dated July 18, 2023 of the City People's Council on building new rural areas in Hai Phong city for the period 2021-2025 and Resolution No. 11/2024/NQ-HDND dated October 4, 2024 of the City People's Council amending and supplementing a number of articles of Resolution No. 02/2023/NQ-HDND dated July 18, 2023.
