Check and give comments on draft resolutions presented at the 19th session (thematic session) of the XVI City People's Council

(Haiphong.gov.vn) - On the afternoon of October 2, the Standing Committee of the City People's Council met to check and give opinions on the draft Resolutions presented at the 19th Session (thematic session) of the XVI City People's Council. Comrade Pham Van Lap, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Council chaired the meeting.

In attendance were comrades: Bui Duc Quang, Vice Chairman of the City People's Council; Le Khac Nam, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee and representatives of leaders of relevant departments, branches, units and localities.

Chairman of the City People's Council Pham Van Lap spoke at the meeting.

After listening to the reports and opinions of the delegates, speaking at the meeting, Chairman of the City People's Council Pham Van Lap said that the Standing Committee of the People's Council basically agreed with 17/17 contents presented by the City People's Committee at the 19th Meeting after the steps were verified by the City People's Council Committees, ensuring processes, procedures and compliance with the law.

For the 4 Resolutions on investment policies and construction of projects in Duong Kinh district and Kien An district, the Chairman of the City People's Council requested to supplement the opinions of the Standing Committee of the People's Council of the above 2 districts. He noted that the City People's Council Committees and Departments, branches and localities assigned to prepare the draft Resolution to be presented at the 19th Meeting need to learn from experience and not delay work related to the preparation of the content of the meeting in the coming time.

There is not much time between now and the 19th Meeting and due to the important nature of this meeting, the Chairman of the City People's Council requested the leaders of the City People's Committee to direct the Departments, branches, branches and units assigned tasks after this meeting to continue to coordinate with the City People's Council Committees to complete the draft documents and resolutions presented at the Meeting; At the same time, on the basis of strictly implementing the provisions of law, ensuring the quality, progress and content of the Meeting, contributing to good preparation for the upcoming 19th Session.
