(Haiphong.gov.vn) - On the afternoon of October 2, the City Department of Science and Technology organized a session to connect technology supply and demand between Vietnamese and Japanese businesses. Director of the Department of Science and Technology chaired the connection session. Attending was Mr. Ono Hirokazu, Chairman of Kitakyushu International Trade Association (Chairman of Dhowa Technos Co., Ltd.). Attending were representatives of more than 50 businesses in the city and neighboring provinces and cities.

At the Connecting Session, there were 6 Japanese enterprises operating in the fields of: seaport automation; energy; build; environmental treatment... to apply to production and life participating in the Connecting Session.
Also at the Connecting Session, representatives of the City Department of Science and Technology popularized the Law on Technology Transfer and the state management functions of the Department of Science and Technology on technology transfer.

Speaking at the Connecting Session, Director of the City Department of Science and Technology Tran Quang Tuan emphasized: The Connecting Session was organized to contribute to supporting Vietnamese businesses in accessing, innovating, investing, and decoding technology; Improving competitiveness helps businesses participate more deeply in the global production and supply chain; have the opportunity to become outsourcing units and joint ventures with Japanese partners; At the same time, realize and further deepen the friendly cooperative relationship between Vietnam and Japan in general, and between Hai Phong and Kitakyushu in particular.
