Commencement of the project to renovate and upgrade Tan Thuat street, Trai Chuoi ward, Hong Bang district

Towards the 60th anniversary of the establishment of Hong Bang district (July 5, 1961 - July 5, 2021), on the morning of June 25, Hong Bang district held a groundbreaking ceremony for the renovation and upgrading of Tan Thuat street, Trai Chuoi ward. Attending were comrade Le Ngoc Tru, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Secretary of the Hong Bang District Party Committee.

Tan Thuat Street, Trai Chuoi Ward has a total length of 381.12m with the main design items being road foundation and drainage system. Total investment is 3.6 billion VND; implemented in the second quarter of 2021. The current condition of the road is asphalt, the road surface has many potholes, some areas have local subsidence, the road surface is rough and loose, making it difficult for vehicles to travel. The drainage system built a long time ago is no longer able to drain water due to collapsed drains filling with mud and gravel, causing flooding every time the rainy season comes.

To gradually improve the traffic infrastructure in a synchronous and modern direction, fulfilling the criteria of traffic, lighting, and environment, investing in renovating and upgrading Tan Thuat street, Trai Chuoi ward is extremely necessary and urgent.

Tan Thuat Street, after being upgraded and renovated, will contribute to completing the traffic infrastructure, improving the appearance, landscape, environment, and improving the living conditions of the community in the area; create favorable conditions for trade and promote socio-economic development of Trai Chuoi ward.

Comrade Le Ngoc Tru, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Secretary of the Hong Bang District Party Committee went on a field inspection of Tan Thuat route.

Speaking at the Groundbreaking Ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Minh Tuan, Chairman of the People's Committee of Hong Bang District, requested the Management Board of Construction Investment Projects of the District to coordinate closely with the supervision consulting unit and the construction unit of the detailed critical road, focusing on human resources and equipment to speed up the progress of renovating and upgrading the road to strive to complete the project ahead of schedule. Trai Chuoi Ward propagates and mobilizes people and localities to overcome all difficulties in traffic conditions during the process of the road being renovated and upgraded.
