(Haiphong.gov.vn) - Celebrating the 63rd Anniversary of Hong Bang District's Establishment (July 5, 1961 - July 5, 2024), on the morning of July 4, Hong Bang District People's Committee held the Inauguration Ceremony of the Hong Bang High School Construction Investment Project.
In attendance were comrades: Le Tien Chau, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Head of the Hai Phong National Assembly Delegation; Dao Khanh Ha, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Head of the Propaganda Department of the City Party Committee; Le Ngoc Tru, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Secretary of the Hong Bang District Party Committee and leaders of several city departments and branches.

Hong Bang High School, formerly known as Hong Bang Technical High School, was established in 1988. After more than 35 years of construction and development, the school team has affirmed its position in the city's education and training industry. For many consecutive years, the school has achieved high titles and achievements awarded by the Central Government, Ministries, branches and cities.
Hong Bang High School was started on July 5, 2022 on the old school campus with a total area of 1.22 hectares, of which 0.35 hectares belonging to Bach Dang Secondary School (old) was transferred by the City People's Committee to expand the area of Hong Bang High School with a total investment of 150 billion VND.

After 02 years of focused construction efforts, up to now the project has completed items ensuring quality and technical factors with a scale appropriate to the National Technical Regulations on construction planning in 2021 of the Ministry of Construction and the 2020 High School Facilities Standards of the Ministry of Education and Training including: 01 administrative building, 04-storey office; 03 functional houses, 04 floors (including classrooms, function rooms, library, canteen,...); 01 multi-purpose house with 02 floors; 01 02-storey garage, fire protection system, along with other auxiliary items and technical infrastructure according to regulations. Total 22 working rooms, 01 hall, 37 cultural classrooms, 13 functional classrooms (including music, fine arts, technology, information technology, foreign languages, multi-function, physics, chemistry, biology, STEM,...) with synchronous equipment.

The completed and put into use project ensures that the facilities will meet the teaching and learning needs of the school's teachers and students in the current period and the expansion of training scale in the coming time, meeting the requirements of innovating the general education program, contributing to improving the quality of the city's education sector. At the same time, the completed project also contributes to changing the urban appearance of the district. After more than 35 years of construction and development, Hong Bang High School has been newly built, spacious and modern, which is the pride and desire of many generations of officials, teachers, school students and people.
In order to operate and exploit the project items effectively, the leaders of Hong Bang District People's Committee requested the school Board of Directors, staff, teachers and students to use and preserve the new school effectively and sustainably; Continue to do a good job consulting with the city and district in equipping more equipment in the direction of standardization and modernity, meeting the criteria for modern, smart national schools; strive to build Hong Bang High School with a healthy educational environment, high educational efficiency and become a key quality school in the city...
