(Haiphong.gov.vn) – On the morning of June 3, the Vietnam Youth Union of Vinh Bao district organized the 6th Congress of Delegates, term 2024-2029. 135 outstanding delegates representing more than 8,000 members of the Youth Union of the entire district attended the Congress.

In the 2019-2024 term, all levels of the Vietnam Youth Union of Vinh Bao district have effectively implemented tasks and achieved many outstanding results in all aspects of work. The “I love my Fatherland” movement was implemented with many specific and practical contents; The Association at all levels has focused on taking care of the spiritual life, promoting the capacity of each youth component in various fields, notably scientific research, supporting youth startups, developing economic models, creating jobs for youth...

The work of building the Association's organization has had many positive changes, the Association's organization has been expanded, the quality of staff and members has been improved. The Association and its affiliated clubs always pay attention and mobilize social resources to serve the activities of the Association. Peak activities such as: Winter and Spring volunteer programs, Festivals accompanying young workers, volunteering for community health, Celebrating the Traditional Day of the Vietnam Youth Union... are widely deployed at all levels of the Association, entering the lives of members and young people.

During the past term, the Vietnam Youth Union of Vinh Bao district has achieved and exceeded 9/10 targets set by the Resolution of the Vth Congress. 100% of the Association's facilities organize propaganda and education on traditions, lifestyle ethics, and disseminate laws on sovereignty over Vietnam's sea and islands, Directives and Resolutions of the Party, policies and laws of the State; continue to implement Directive 05-CT/TW of the Politburo on promoting learning and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style; effectively implement the "Building role model values for Vietnamese youth in the new era" Campaign. During the term, built and repaired 18 new Charity houses, organized counseling and career guidance for 20,000 young people and students; Participate in vocational training and job introductionm for 1,200 – 1,500 young people. Every year, at least 80% of the Association's establishments under the Association's district are classified as strong, 20% are classified as good or average, and there are no establishments classified as weak. Develop the organization of the Vietnam Youth Union in non-state enterprises, the private sector, establish new from 03 - 05 Association facilities, and organize collective members of the Association.

At the Congress, negotiations were held to appoint the District VI Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union, term 2024-2029, including 24 comrades. Comrade Vu Duy Minh - Secretary of the District Youth Union, Chairman of the Vietnam Youth Union of the district, term V, continued to be elected as Chairman of the Association, term VI. The Congress also negotiated to appoint a delegation to attend the Congress of the Vietnam Youth Union in Hai Phong city, term 2024-2029, including 14 delegates.

On this occasion, the District Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the district presented Vinh Bao youth with a banner bearing the words "Pioneer - Bravery - Creativity - Development". 30 groups and individuals with outstanding achievements in the Association's work and youth movement for the 2019-2024 term have been commended and rewarded by the City Youth Union and the People's Committee of Vinh Bao district.
