(Haiphong.gov.vn) - On the afternoon of July 17, in An Son commune, Thuy Nguyen district, the City People's Committee held the inauguration ceremony of the Dinh bridge project connecting Thuy Nguyen district, Hai Phong city with Kinh Mon town, Hai Duong province.

Attending the Inauguration Ceremony on Hai Duong province's side was comrade Nguyen Minh Hung, Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee. On the city side, there was comrade Nguyen Duc Tho, City Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee. Together with representatives of leaders of departments, branches and localities of Hai Duong province and Hai Phong city.

With the scale of new construction of Dinh Bridge made of reinforced concrete and prestressed reinforced concrete across Kinh Thay River, the bridge has a length of 369.8m; The bridge width is 12m. The bridge consists of 07 spans, design load HL93, navigation compartment size is 50mx9.5m.
After more than 13 months of construction, the Dinh Bridge project was completed on schedule, this is the result of active cooperation between two localities, Hai Duong province and Hai Phong city, in the spirit of Resolution No. 45 of the Politburo on the construction and development of Hai Phong city to 2030, with a vision to 2045.
The investment in new construction of Dinh Bridge contributes to connecting national highways: National Highway 37, National Highway 10, provincial roads: DT.389B, DT.352 and regional roads, creating a large regional connection, creating favorable conditions for people of Kinh Mon town, districts: Kim Thanh, Nam Sach (Hai Duong province), Dong Trieu district (Quang Ninh province) and surrounding areas in traveling. trade, better access to economic and social services of the city, especially to the new Political and Administrative Center of Hai Phong city in the North Song Cam New Urban Area.

Speaking at the ceremony, comrade Nguyen Minh Hung, Vice Chairman of Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee chanked and congratulated the leaders of Hai Phong city for focusing on directing and deploying investment to complete the construction of the bridge connecting Hai Duong province and Hai Phong city. The bridge being completed and put into use is a testament to the good cooperation results of the two localities, meeting many years of expectations of the people of the two provinces and cities, especially the people of Thuy Nguyen district and Kinh Mon town.
The leaders of Hai Duong province believe that after connecting the road, Thuy Nguyen district and Kinh Mon town, the two localities directly on both sides of the bridge, will have many strong changes in appearance, economy and society in the coming years. Hai Phong and Hai Duong will have many opportunities to expand cooperation to breakthrough growth and strong development.

Speaking at the Inauguration Ceremony, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Duc Tho respectfully expressed his gratitude for the effective cooperation and coordination of Hai Duong province during the project implementation process. At the same time, acknowledge and praise the Investor, Departments, branches and localities of Hai Phong city and Hai Duong province and the contractors who have made many efforts to complete the project to ensure progress and quality.
The completion and use of Dinh Bridge to replace the previous Dinh ferry will contribute to enhancing traffic capacity, meeting the travel needs of the people, bringing development of tourism, services and ensuring national security and defense for both localities of Hai Phong and Hai Duong, the Vice Chairman emphasized.
