On the afternoon of April 3, Hai Phong City Cooperative Alliance held the opening ceremony of the Program to connect supply and demand for product consumption and display and introduce typical products of cooperatives and businesses for the 3rd time. With the theme "Connecting consumption - spreading Vietnamese values", the event is an important highlight in the series of activities responding to the Month of Action for Cooperatives in 2026.
Attending the opening ceremony were comrade Cao Xuan Thu Van, Chairman of the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance; Nguyen Duc Tuan, Member of the City Party Committee's Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the city's Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and representatives of relevant departments, branches and branches. In particular, the event attracted the coordinated participation of the Hanoi City Cooperative Alliance and 9 provinces: Phu Tho, Dak Lak, Bac Ninh, Tuyen Quang, Lao Cai, Son La, Lang Son, Thai Nguyen, Cao Bang.
Practically celebrating the 80th anniversary of Uncle Ho's call to join the Cooperative
The festival was held with profound historical significance, aiming to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the day Uncle Ho wrote a letter calling for Vietnamese landowners and farmers to join agricultural cooperatives (April 11, 1946 - April 11, 2026) and Vietnam Cooperative Day. This is not only a trading space, but also a place to gather trust, spread values and arouse the development aspirations of the collective economic sector in the new era.
The highlight of the Program is the display scale with more than 30 booths, introducing hundreds of OCOP products, regional specialties, safe and high quality agricultural products from Hai Phong and other provinces and cities. The products appearing in the exhibition space are not simply commercial goods, but are the crystallization of the intelligence, effort and constant desire for improvement of Vietnamese farmers and cooperatives.
Assert the role of bridge and proactive market integration
Speaking at the Opening Ceremony, the leader of Hai Phong City Cooperative Alliance affirmed that through a long path of development, the cooperative economy has proven a profound truth:"Unity creates strength - cooperation creates value - association creates the future".
In the context of today's deeply integrated economy, the collective economic sector faces great opportunities mixed with many challenges. Overcoming those barriers, cooperatives are demonstrating a strong transformation, no longer standing outside the market game but increasingly proactively integrating and developing sustainably. Innovation and creativity have helped cooperatives become a solid bridge between production and the consumer market, between farmers and the business community, while harmoniously connecting traditional values and modern consumer trends.
The third supply and demand connection program is expected to open up many new business cooperation opportunities and establish stronger supply chain links. Thereby, directly bringing the cooperative's quality products closer to consumers, reaching out to domestic and international markets, contributing to the development of a strong collective economy, enhancing the value of Vietnamese agricultural products for the common prosperity of the community./.
