Also attending were Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Hoang Minh Cuong and leaders of relevant departments and branches.

Speaking at the meeting, City Party Secretary Le Tien Chau expressed his joy in welcoming Ambassador Olivier Brochet and the delegation to visit Hai Phong at a time when the Vietnam - France strategic partnership is developing well. Thanking the city leaders for the respectful welcome, Ambassador Olivier Brochet expressed his impression of the dynamic development of Hai Phong - the largest seaport city in Northern Vietnam. The Ambassador affirmed that French businesses are very interested in the investment environment in Vietnam in general and Hai Phong in particular. In the coming time, the French Embassy will coordinate closely with the city to organize investment promotion activities, cultural exchanges and promote cooperative projects on sustainable urban development and adaptation to climate change.

City Party Secretary Le Tien Chau affirmed that the city government is committed to creating favorable conditions and providing maximum support for administrative procedures and infrastructure so that French investors can feel secure in their long-term operations, contributing to tightening the friendship and economic cooperation between the two countries./.
