Speaking at the opening of the Meeting, Chairman of the City People's Council Pham Van Lap said that the 23rd Session is the first session of the City People's Council in 2025, held just 1 day after the National Assembly Session.
At this meeting, the City People's Council will consider, give opinions and decide on 11 draft Resolutions, including: consider and decide to consolidate and merge a number of specialized agencies under the City People's Committee according to the direction of the Central and City Party Committee, ensuring that agencies operate according to the new organizational model from March 1, 2025; Consider and promulgate additional support policies for officials, civil servants, public employees, and workers in implementing organizational arrangements of the political system in Hai Phong city. This is the city's special and highest level of concern in the country for those who are pioneers, exemplary, responsible, and willing to sacrifice personal interests for the common good in implementing the Central and City's policies on arranging and streamlining the apparatus.
