The 2026 National Press Festival, the National Press Forum, and the National Press Awards Ceremony are a series of activities commemorating the 101st anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day, held in Hai Phong.

Today, June 19, a series of key activities commemorating the 101st anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day, including the 2026 National Press Festival, the National Press Forum, the XX National Press Awards Ceremony, and the final round of the "Expanded Journalists' Singing Contest," officially commenced.
The 2026 National Press Festival, themed "Vietnamese Press – Loyal, Creative, Responsible in the New Era," features the participation of 66 press agencies and units, and various levels of the Vietnam Journalists' Association nationwide.

The exhibition space showcases the outstanding achievements of Vietnamese journalism over more than a century of development, reflecting the role of the press in Party building, national development, and international integration.
The 20th National Press Awards Ceremony is a special highlight in the series of activities commemorating the 101st anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day. This is the most prestigious professional award for journalists.
According to information from the Organizing Committee: this year, the National Press Awards Council selected 123 excellent works for awards, including 11 A prizes, 26 B prizes, 50 C prizes, and 36 Consolation prizes across 13 categories. The honored works vividly reflect major national issues, contributing to building social consensus.

The Vietnam Journalists' Association continues to organize the 2026 National Press Forum, with the participation of delegates including leaders of press agencies, journalists, speakers, and reputable media experts.
Discussion sessions include topics such as: Promoting the role of the press in protecting the Party's ideological foundation; Press – Businesses accompanying to create the future; Innovation and creativity to reach new readers, develop press economics; Press copyright in the AI era: Protecting the value of journalism; Promoting Vietnam's image on the digital press ecosystem.
