(Haiphong.gov.vn) – In the atmosphere of celebrating the 49th Anniversary of the Liberation of the South and reunification of the country; 70 years of Dien Bien Phu Victory and 69 years of Hai Phong Liberation Day in particular. On the evening of April 28, at Nam Cau Kien Industrial Park, Shinec Joint Stock Company organized a series of events to mark the new development of the business, including: Ceremony to announce sustainable development report - ESG report; Ceremony of awarding world record certificates, Vietnam records and the epic music night "Desire to pass on" to celebrate 70 years of Dien Bien Phu victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2024).

The concept of ESG was first introduced in 2004 in a report from the United Nations – titled Who Cares Wins (Who cares wins). Since then, ESG has become a mainstream trend around the world. In Vietnam, in the context of our country's increasingly deep participation in the global value chain, ESG has received increasing attention and importance from the business community and investors.

In Nam Cau Kien Industrial Park, to ensure environmental factors, more than 1 million trees have been planted, accounting for 33% of the industrial park's land area. Automatic and continuous waste source monitoring system, transmitting information to the Hai Phong Department of Natural Resources and Environment 24/7, every day of the week; 81.4 kWh of electricity was generated from the rooftop solar power project and used in operating Nam Cau Kien. 25% of treated wastewater in the industrial park is reused for watering plants and washing roads, reducing the amount of discharge into the environment, saving 6 billion VND per year in the cost of buying clean water.
Currently, Shinec is cooperating with NX filtration Group to research and implement an industrial wastewater reuse project using hollow fiber Nano filter technology. Water recovered after filtration will be used for industrial purposes in the industrial park. This is an activity to achieve the goal of completing the wastewater circulation system of Nam Cau Kien Industrial Park, aiming for "zero" emissions by 2030.

At the program, the Hai Phong Veterans Association coordinated with Shinec Joint Stock Company to co-organize the epic art program "Aspiration to pass on to descendants". Using the art forms of song - dance - music - drama, the program portrayed the portrait, life and career of General Vo Nguyen Giap, introducing the process of Shinec Joint Stock Company implementing the General's aspirations on the ideology of economic development closely linked to environmental protection.
The program content includes 3 Chapters: Chapter 1 is The People's General, Chapter 2 is Aspiration and Chapter 3 is The Successor, with 17 performances. Among them, there are 13 singing performances, which are works set to music from the poetry of businessman Pham Hong Diep - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Shinec Joint Stock Company.
Vietnam Cultural Heritage Association awarded the golden plaque and certified the Cultural Heritage space of General Vo Nguyen Giap at Nam Cau Kien Industrial Park.

On this occasion, the Central Vietnam Record Holders Association decided to record 03 Vietnam Records to Shinec Joint Stock Company and Lawyer and Businessman Pham Hong Diep, including: Shinec Joint Stock Company - the first Industrial Park in Vietnam to build a Cultural Space about General Vo Nguyen Giap; Lawyer, Businessman Pham Hong Diep is the person who composed poetry and had the most poems set to music in the highest number of numbers in Vietnam (during a period of 3 years, from 2021 to 2024) and is the person who composed many poems about 63 provinces and cities in Vietnam and had the largest number of poems set to music (75 songs)./.
