According to the report, the People's Committee of Tien Lang district has focused on leadership, direction, and administration to proactively and decisively carry out tasks in 2019. The main economic targets all increased compared to the same period last year, currently 11/12 targets are expected to be completed and exceeded the plan. The restructuring of the agricultural sector is gradually being implemented, the work of preventing and fighting African swine fever is directed drastically, and the new rural construction program continues to achieve many results. A number of important transportation projects were started, many businesses proposed to explore and choose Tien Lang for investment. Site clearance work for important projects in the area is regularly inspected, urged, and accelerated construction progress.Policies for people with meritorious services and social security policies are implemented with much increased support compared to the previous year, recognized and highly appreciated by the people. Cultural, sports, information and propaganda activities have many innovations. The socio-economic situation continues to develop, national defense and security, social order and safety are maintained, and people's lives are constantly improved.
Implementing the year's theme "Strengthening budget revenue and expenditure management, promoting administrative reform and building new rural areas" the District People's Committee has issued an Action Program, a Directive on strengthening budget collection, and a Decision to strengthen the Steering Committee to combat budget loss. The results of scoring the administrative reform index in 2018 ranked the district 7th out of 15 districts, ranked 2nd in the district block, up 3 places compared to 2017; The satisfaction index for administrative services reached 92.44% (an increase of 11.4% compared to 2017). Total state budget revenue is estimated at 1,087.7 billion VND, equal to 102% of the plan, equal to 114.6% compared to 2018. Of which: state budget revenue in the area is estimated to reach 134.1 billion VND, equal to 119.1% of the plan, equal to 82.9% compared to 2018. Total state budget expenditure is estimated to reach 1,055.9 billion VND, equal to 107.3% of the plan and 118.6% compared to 2018. Total disbursed investment capital: 269,860 billion VND, reaching 100% of the capital allocated by the city.
In 2020, Tien Lang District People's Committee continues the theme "Strengthening management of budget revenues and expenditures; promoting administrative reform and building new rural areas". Total production value in the area is 11,180 billion VND, an increase of 12% compared to 2019. Average income per capita/year: 50 million VND, an increase of 9.2% compared to 2019. Total budget revenue in 2020: 821.1 billion VND. The city's total public investment capital is 330 billion VND.
