The district focuses highly on directing agricultural production, strengthening inspection and supervision of disease prevention; The value of industrial production managed by the district is estimated at 366.6 billion VND, reaching 76.86% of the plan, up 12.8% over the same period; Total retail sales of goods are estimated at 2,976 billion VND, reaching 77.38% of the year's plan and increasing 11.33% over the same period; Accommodation and food service revenue is estimated at 425.7 billion VND, reaching 75.21% ofyear plan and increased by 18.41% over the same period; The total estimated state budget revenue in the area is 156,518 million VND, reaching 70.15% of the assigned estimate and equal to 110.09% over the same period. New rural infrastructure projects are being urgently constructed, including 51 projects in 5 communes; Road projects in villages, hamlets, residential areas, internal field roads, and internal cemetery roads according to the city's cement program are being implemented.
In 2019, the budget revenue estimate in the district assigned by the City People's Committee and decided by the District People's Council is 223,130 million VND. Estimated total budget revenue in the district for the whole year is estimated at 228,788 million VND, reaching 102.54% of the assigned estimate and increasing 15.15% compared to 2018 implementation. The assigned regular expenditure estimate does not include expenditure provisions of 476,821 million VND; It is estimated that regular expenditures will be implemented throughout the year to ensure compliance with the assigned estimates for each field and additional spending tasks.
Regarding the main socio-economic development plan for 2020, the district focuses on economic development, ensuring sustainability and reasonable growth, shifting economic structure in the area, completing the construction of a new rural district and setting a number of key targets such as: industrial and handicraft production value (at 2010 comparative prices) is 537 billion VND, increased by 11.88%; The value of agricultural - forestry - fishery production is 1,519 billion VND, an increase of 5.18% compared to the estimate made in 2019; Total state budget revenue in the area is 266.33 billion VND, equal to 116.4%; Total local budget expenditure is 900.87 billion VND, equal to 122.34% of the estimate implemented in 2019; creating jobs for 3,010 people; The poverty rate decreased each yearis 0.64%; The rate of people participating in health insurance reached 92%; The rate of solid waste collected and treated is 97.5%; The rate of rural households using hygienic water is 100%.
In administrative reform work, the district has organized quarterly meetings on administrative reform between district leaders, specialized departments and communes and towns; Strengthen the implementation of IT applications in management and administration activities; Deploying and operating the Electronic One-Stop System and Online Public Services; Organize inspection of administrative reform work, arrange civil servants to work at the One-Stop department in accordance with regulations; Equipped with necessary basic equipment to serve the operation of the One-Stop department; Deploy and apply electronic one-stop software and send documents through the city's document sending and receiving axis. From January 1, 2019 to September 5, 2019, the total number of dossiers received and processed by the district during the period was 5,887 (of which, the previous period's inventory was627, received during the period was 5,260); 5,674 documents were resolved ahead of time and on time. Fully publicize 15 areas with 283 district-level administrative procedures, 10 areas with 109 commune-level administrative procedures at the One-Stop Department and on the district electronic information portal.
