This is a group B project, level III traffic project, with a total investment of 367 billion, 195 million VND, equal to the city budget, invested by the District People's Committee. The investment scale of the project includes: Renovating, upgrading and expanding Water Trough road (from the intersection of Ton Duc Thang street - National Highway 5 to provincial road 351), An Duong district with a total length of 4.3km, roadbed width of 21m (renovate, upgrade and expand on both sides), design speed of 50km/h with two-lane road surface, each lane 5.5m wide, structure A1 grade asphalt concrete pavement; The sidewalk on both sides is 5m wide on each side.
Auxiliary works on the route include: Rainwater drainage system located under the pavement on both sides of the road, arranged with reinforced concrete culverts D600, reinforced concrete cross-road culverts D1000. Wastewater drainage system on both sides, sewer D300. The technical trench system is located on the sidewalk on the right side of the route, measuring 1.2m x 1.2m. The lighting system is arranged staggered on both sides of the sidewalk and the traffic safety system.
Water Trough Road (from the intersection of Ton Duc Thang, Water Trough, National Highway 5 to Provincial Road 351) will connect with the Southern Bridge Binh intersection - Mechanical Dien intersection, Ton Duc Thang street, creating a traffic connection with the city's modern urban space, opening up a new development direction of An Duong district in the future. It is expected that the project will be completed and put into use in 2023./.
