Mobilizing an additional VND 5,800 billion in Government bonds through bidding

The State Treasury has mobilized more than 200,000 billion through HNX since the beginning of the year

In the most recent auction, the State Treasury mobilized VND 5,810 billion in Government bonds.

Accordingly, the total bidding volume is 6,000 billion VND for 3 types of terms: 5 years (3,000 billion VND), 7 years (1,500 billion VND) and 15 years (1,500 billion VND).

The 5-year bond had 17 members participating in the bidding, the valid bidding volume reached 5,761 billion VND and the bidding interest rate was in the range of 6.02-7.20%/year. As a result, the Treasury mobilized VND 2,710 billion in 5-year bonds with a winning interest rate of 6.10%/year, equal to the winning interest rate in the previous session (July 13, 2016).

The 7-year bond has 6 members participating in the bidding, the valid bidding volume reached 2,251 billion VND and the bidding interest rate is in the range of 6.60-7.40%/year. As a result, 1,150 billion VND of 7-year bonds were sold out with a winning interest rate of 6.62%/year, equal to the winning interest rate of the previous session (July 13, 2016).

The main bidding session for 15-year bonds had 5 members participating in the bidding, the valid bidding volume reached 1,789 billion VND and the bidding interest rate range was in the range of 7.64-9.00%/year. Results of successfully mobilizing 1,500 billion VND of 15-year bonds with winning interest rate of 7.65%/year, equal to the winning interest rate of the previous session (July 13, 2016). The 15-year bond sub-contract called for 450 billion VND, with 4 members participating and the valid bidding volume reached 849 billion VND, successfully mobilizing 450 billion VND.
